My little girl persuaded me to try something different this week so together we have been making creatures from socks. Very easy and lots of fun. I hate to admit it but some of her sewing was better than mine (she's only 10!).
We are now frantically searching the sock section of every shop we visit to try and find unusual socks to make more of these cute little critters.

Birthday Card
Last weekend over at The Copy and Paste Project Kirsty very kindly shared some of her lovely designs to be downloaded and printed. The challenge is to use some of the designs in a project for a chance to win a year's subscription to Papercraft Inspirations. Luckily this challenge came just in time to inspire me to make a card for my sister in law's 50th birthday. The card was duly handed over yesterday and she loved it (thank goodness).

Party............
Yesterday I stumbled across Copy and Paste and found they were having a weekend party! It looks like a lot of fun so I thought I'd join in. As I'm just rediscovering blogland it's great to find places to go for inspiration. I'm hoping to get more involved in the party later but for now here are my answers to a few of the questions they asked......
I'm inspired by nature and it surprises me that it can still surprise me.
I'm always late but I'm never too late to make the most of what's left.
I've got lots of curls but I've always wanted straight hair.
I tried to give up red wine and it nearly drove me insane.
If I never get to the end of my to do list it will be no surprise.
I didn't want children and now I have three!
It's not that I'm anti social but I'd really rather enjoy my own company than endure the company of some people.
Doing my own thing makes me a happy bunny.
Someone once told me not to and then I did it anyway.
I'm happy to say that life is good and even when I moan I know how lucky I am.
I've also signed up to Shimelle's 'Blogging For Scrapbookers' and have been messing about with the look of my blog. Not completely happy yet but getting there.

Latest LO
This is the most recent layout I've done (not including the UKS cybercrop. I adore these pictures of the boys, I think they really capture the fun side of having twins.
Little Houses
I made these little houses with the Mystery Kit from Modscraps for the CyberCrop at UKScrappers. The kids couldn't wait to get their hands on them and as soon as I took the photos they were gone! I did have to change the roof on the yellow one though, because Jacob said he didn't like yellow and wanted a green roof. I was thrilled to see my houses won the Mystery Kit vote for my team - so exciting!
I made four layouts and three canvasses during the CC too although two of the canvasses need more work before I'll be happy with them.
